Treasure Island: Family Shows

The rock’n’roll Hull panto returns with another anarchic take on a classic story

Written and directed by Paul Smith
Chosen by You

Ahoy there, me hearties! This here treasure map says that fame and fortune await whichever brave soul sets out to discover them on the high seas.

Join wannabe pirate Jim and his mam Pattie Breadcake on the voyage of a lifetime, in search of the legendary Treasure Island.

Together they leave their humble life by the Humber for adventure on the high seas, pursued by the nefarious Long John Silver.

Will Jim and Pattie solve Bill Bones’ riddle, to fill their pockets with jewels and gems galore? Or will they walk the plank to Davy Jones’ locker, at the hands of Long John Silver’s motley crew?

Or will they walk the plank to face certain doom, at the hands of Hull’s most perilous pirates?

Find out in Hull’s silliest Christmas show, featuring a live band and the chance to make as much noise as you possibly can.

First performed at Fruit in 2011, the Middle Child panto is a homegrown hit, with a different story chosen every year by our audience.

Catch us down Humber Street this Christmas to kickstart a swashbuckling new tradition, including the ever-popular, final mischief show, when the cast play pranks on each other.
