Short plays festival

Lock In brings together actors, writers, directors, designers and musicians to create four new short plays in just one day, based on ideas from residents of the Thornton Estate, where we are based.
This festival offers Thornton Estate audiences access to the creative process and a direct influence on the outcome. Each festival includes four paid internship roles for residents of the estate who are looking to move into the creative industries. Lock In is a place where theatre makers in Hull can play and experiment, often in roles that are new to them.
